David is a seasoned management consultant with over 12 years of focused experience in the domains of analytics, digital commerce, social media, big data, and financial management.

Previously, he has held important portfolios such as, Board Advisor and Investor at Veravas,Inc., where he was instrumental in developing technology that would measure the potential of low abundance biomarkers, needed to better diagnose and treat rare and common diseases.

Besides, David has served as the Chief Operations Officer at CogWellin-BIO Tech Venture Company; as the Chief Digital Officer at MAXIMUS, and Managing Director at PwC and Accenture, where his management consulting prowess has helped sway influence across multiple industry groups including communications, healthcare, financial, consumer goods, manufacturing, and entertainment.

He graduated with Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Syracuse University and went on to lead the technical team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., enabling them to build and support several trading applications.

Amit Bhattacharyya
Amit Bhattacharyya

Amit is an Advisory Board Member at TCG Digital. As the Head of Data Science at Vox Media and being a Lecturer at UC Berkeley.

Amit brings valuable insights to the organization that pertain to the latest updates in the field of data science and its evolution.

Alongside, he is a part-time Data Science Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, where he imparts discourses on Applied Machine Learning. Previously, he has held positions of being a Senior Data Scientist at Teachers Pay Teachers, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Data Science at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, a Data Scientist at Annalect Group, and a Quantitative Analyst at BlueCrest Capital.

His diverse education background is equipped with a BA in Astrophysics and Classics from the University of California, Berkeley. Adding another feather to his hat is his PhD in Physics from the Indiana University, Bloomington.

Amit started his career as an Associate in Louis Dreyfus Corp, dealing with weather risk management. Subsequently, his penchant for data science saw him foray into Proprietary Positioning, where he took over as the VP at JP Morgan Chase. Executive Chairman

Mikael has over 30 years of experience in digital transformation and has held several critical leadership roles while helping organizations solve business problems and harness sustainable growth. 

At present he is the Executive Chairman to TCG Digital’s Board and is also working as the CEO of LabVantage Solutions Inc., a provider of laboratory informatics solutions and services, and a group company of The Chatterjee Group (TCG).

Before joining LabVantage, Mikael was the CEO and President at MetricStream. He also held the positions of EVP at SAS and that of the President at SAS International where he was responsible for successful development of global sales strategy along with business development. He undertook full operational and P&L responsibility for a majority of countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also played a crucial role at McKinsey & Company as the Partner and as COO at McKinsey Analytics during which he helped in harnessing high-performance analytics across industries; thus, enabling companies to reshape their business models, modernize their organizations, and unlock sustainable value from big data and advanced analytics.

Besides, Mikael is currently on the Board of Advisors of the AI Forum and has served as Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Data-Driven Development and on the Global Future Council. He has also been the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU, Executive Committee member of the U.S. Council for International Business, and has served as an Executive Board member of the Atlantic Council. Roopen is one of the key board members of TCG Digital and the founder and CEO of Sumantrana Management Consultants, LLP, an advisory firm focused on guiding, advising, and mentoring start-ups and young entrepreneurs.

He brings 36 years of experience during which he has advised numerous clients across diverse industry verticals such as, financial services, technology, public sector, and energy & resources. In his previous roles, he has served Deloitte Consulting, India, as the Managing Director and Country Leader and was also a member of the global leadership team. Before that, he was the Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he pioneered the IT services-business and grew it to over 1800 people.

Besides India, Roopen has worked extensively in the United States, Australia, Japan, and Korea. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and the Board of NASSCOM. Additionally, he is on the board of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, and is the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Governing Council of AIMA (All India Management Association). Besides being a chartered accountant, he has completed the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at the Harvard Business School.

CEO

Debdas is the CEO of TCG Digital, the flagship, modern-age technology company of The Chatterjee Group.

TCG Digital helps solve complex business problems; leveraging the power of state-of-the-art innovations in the areas of: AI, analytics, mobility, cybersecurity, Blockchain, IOT, RPA, and other cutting edge solutions.

Before joining the TCG Group, Debdas was an Executive Director and Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers India (PwC). Debdas’s last roles include being the Technology Consulting Leader of PwC India; being part of the Technology Leadership team for the PwC Network; and Managing Partner in Eastern India. He was also the Analytics Competency Lead for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India.

Debdas has a B.Tech (Hons.) from IIT Kharagpur in Electronics and Communication Engineering (1997). Debdas has also been an active contributor in leading journals, and he has been a speaker in many seminars in the U.S. and India.

Debdas has held various positions of importance in a number of Chambers of Commerce. His special interest is in social service. Debdas is involved in many activities which make a difference to society; including being a board member of several NGOs. Presently, Debdas is Chairman of the Eastern Region of American Chamber of Commerce.

Previously, Koushik has served at Ericsson as the Head of Digital Services for India, North and Gulf Countries at IBM UK and India as an Executive Partner and Service Line Leader in IBM’s Application Innovation and Analytics practice, and also at PwC Consulting.
